Triax TSC114 Firmware Upgrade Fail

Help! I tried to upgrade my 114 with the latest firmware from the Triax website. There was a read error during the upgrade process now it wont boot up. There is no picture & I cant access the menus.

I emailed Triax for support but they were useless, they just told me to bring it back to where I bought it from. I brought it back to power city but they didnt want to know because it was out of their 12 month warranty even though Triax give 24months on the 114. They gave me a phone number for a local triax service agent but again the agent said they could not help.

Anybody got any ideas how to factory reset this box? I haven't taken the cover off because there is a warranty void sticker over 1 of the screws.

There is an ethernet port on the back of it. I was thinking maybe its possible to connect to it via a browser?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Firstly there is nothing you can do to fix the box yourself, secondly I had to hard battle with Triax to get a replacement for a box that this happened to and one I had myself that it happened to...

box fails the update at 5% and then wont boot up...even as a supplier Triax tried to tell me bring it back to where I purchased it from. After about 20 emails I finally got a proper email from the top man in Service and he agreed to replaced the box directly.

Out of respect I will not give his name on the board publicly but am happy to give you his email address if you contact me privately as I for one feel there was a certain batch of these boxes faulty and triax's attitude to the shop being responsible for them isn't right.
