Commercial Calves: Show or not?

    Lads do you reckon is it worth showing a commercial calf?
    Have a charolais cross (show quality but is it worth all the hardship like training/washing etc.
    I've heard the prize money is very small at local shows.

    not if you are doing it to make money. and especially not if you are planning on buying in a calf.

    look it as a hobby. Not a business
