    I have an old house that want to refurb , it needs esb connection , water connected , was going to reroof,rewire, replumb ...also I was going to upgrade the old septic tank .Do I need planning for to do this in co clare

    Oh right and if I leave the old tank as it is ... I am guessing I don't need it.

    imo you need planning - seek advice from your local planning department
    you'd be best to get an assessment carried out on this tank before you go any further
