Hi I have two questions that I'd like to ask.

We have a small enough house.

There are 8 rads in the house. Currently we have an oil heating system and when we turn on the oil, it heats the rads and the hot water. We'd like to be able to heat them independently. Is this a big job?

Secondly, I want to get a stove with a backboiler. There was a backboiler in the room at one time so I think the pipes are still there. It is a small enough room. Can anybody recommend a stove that will heat the 8 rads, the water, and the room sufficiently?

    The room is approximately 5m x 4m x 8 ft ceiling.

Generally not a big job, but it depends upon the layout of existing pipework. Grant assistance is also available if you wish to bring the system to current standards.

Stove installation is a much larger job, pipework, floor lifting, new cylinder, zone bypass, etc.
