I have the Sennheiser CX 400-II and they are fantastic.

I don't know how far they're from the CX 475's, but it's a good make anyway.

Sounds good and they are half price at the moment i see. def bargain. Perfect as i recently messed up my samsung earphones when forgetting them in my pants and putting them through the washing machine!

I find earphones just too breakable to be going for expensive one's. Admittedly I do abuse them and they can last anything between a couple of weeks to a few months with me. So what I do is wait for a good offer on a website like My Memory and buy a batch of them at circa €5 each.

Been rocking them size they went on offer during the summer. I love sennheisers they fit great under my helmet when im our on the bike which was my main reason for getting them but over the last while there all I buy. That said their build quality is ****, but argos replaced mine when the audio went in one ear no questions asked. So if your getting them definitely keep the box and receipt so when they do break(and they will) you can get another for free.

Just as a FYI recently I was in currys/pcworld browsing headphones and I had argos website open comparing prices. I found a pair of Sennheisers I liked @ €80 that were €52 on the Argos site. I asked if they price match, they do plus give 10% of the difference as a further discount. I presume this applies to anything they both stock that you can find cheaper.

I think it how you look after them. I keep my Sennheisers for years. They've last a lot longer than other makes I've had. The main issue is avoiding fakes, as the web is flooded with them. Buying from a main street they should be ok.

Has anyone any experience using Bose bluetooth headphones? I am thinking of buying these: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/bose-bose-soundlink-on-ear-bluetooth-headphones-black-blue-soundlink-oe-blk-blu/10322910.aspx?path=7b279a6ae6e47398a12c32b91f54753aen02

but quite a lot of money so Id like to make sure they are good before I buy. My main concern would be the fact that they are bluetooth and Id be worried that perhaps the sound might not be as good or that the sound might drop (for want of a better word).

Yeah, they look pretty good, but for my next headphones I am going to go for the over ear type model. I normally use buds but recently put on a pair of bose around ears and was blown away by the sound. I like the idea of them been bluetooth too, I do a lot of listening to music when cooking and my gf always complains that she cant hear the TV with the music. Wired headphones would not really work in that situation as you would be moving around quite a bit.
