Argos have a Panasonic 39" smart for €499 IF you can find a store that stocks it.

Picked up a Toshiba smart 39" LED in my local Expert store (Joyces,Wexford) for €489 the other day,great set.Wifi also which is handy as no need for cables or dongles.
