Update on the race. As in past years the race is followed by tea/refreshments, presentations and a guest speaker in the local Glencarn Hotel. Past guest speakers where Gerry Duffy & Ken Whitelaw, 32marathons, and Niall Moyna.

This year the organisers are delighted that in addition to Gerry Duffy returning (an annual visitor), Catherina McKiernan will be the main speaker.

This race is happening this weekend, so small bump for it.

Good online entries so far and as usual strong local interest. Weather looks favourable as well at this stage.

Everything going well it will be a great race and day.

Hope it goes well for you. It got good reports last year and I would be there this year only I have committed to the Seeley Cup 10K in Belfast. Proceeds are going to great deserving charities.

Good stuff, seems to be a big crowd, so hoping to beat last years numbers. Hoping to beat my PB as well which is as important :)

Not doing it. I had committed to this race earlier in the year and Jim gave me the all clear. It is the NI 10K Championships so at least it is a good race. Jim is not doing CC either. We still have a decent team. Still basking in our Senior title. Probably wont win it for another few years until your team is all injured again so we have to enjoy it.

Well done to all involved with the event. Everything from the atmosphere before to the atmosphere after was fantastic. The weather was mild and calm which meant perfect running conditions. The spread after was brill.

    Can't wait for next year:p

results from yesterday, great day with over 600 doing it on the day.

Patrick Hamilton was the winner with a great time of 15.19. Course record.

Really enjoyed listening to Catherina McKiernan afterwards, very good talker.

I really enjoyed the event and was very well organised. It was my first time in a race and done surprisingly well for my first time :). Will definitely do a few more in the coming months.
