    Hi.
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place.
But does anyone know if there is still a big backlog in the tax offices? I am going to call them in the morning anyway but I sent my tax form in about a month ago, about two weeks ago I was told there was a backlog of 2500 in this tax office and I still haven't received it.

I wasn't aware there was a back log in the tax office. What is the reason?

I renewed my tax about a month ago and the disc was in my hand within 4 days.

There was in the tax office in Cavan. Presume it was something to do with the new laws that came in??

I was on to them yesterday about my car, I declared it off the road with the old and new forms over a month ago, up to yesterday they still hadn't done it. I called and the lady confirmed a backlog for motor tax and off the road declarations.

For the off the road declaration, she said they where just adding them to the system when people rang to inquire.

    Thanks for reply.
I got onto them earlier and was told that about the backlog again. He checked my reg no, said it hadn't been done yet but to expect it anytime.

They should have less to do now that the licences are being managed elsewhere.
