Question about stocking density?

On a farm all stock are removed from March 15 to September 14. One cut silage made in September. Aftermath grazing after September 15 is at 0.5LSU/ha on an annual basis. Aftermath grazing is from September 15 to march 14. Is the stocking density 0.5LSU/ha from September to march or is it 1LSU/ha from September to March?
