    Hey all,

Just wondering out of curiosity what sort of feed do farmers feed cattle in Ireland?

    Cheers

Are you bob's long lost cousin?

Grass is the main feed when it's growing (March-Oct).
Then it's silage for the winter rest of the time.

grass and everything up to what you eat yourself excluding anything with meat of any form. when will we be allowed to feed MBM again? I know the answer is never but considering science would say it never caused FMD.

Zeranol aswell while we go campaigning, again available outside the EU. Dairy boys in Ireland are regularly using hormones so wheres the problem. From memory there is about the same amount of Oestrogen in a 80kgs of implanted beef as there is in an egg!!!
