    Hi all,

Thought best to post here instead of creating a new thread. Basically, just looking on recommendations for a media player that comes with XBMC installed. Alot of the tech stuff on here goes over my head so looking for something thats easy to use, and just a matter of plug and play. Just want it for the movies and tv shows online and sports also if its not too much working installing etc.

I had a look on adverts but so many to choose from, any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I bought this Joe, its the same principle but packed in after a few weeks.
http://www.ebay.com/bhp/mele-a1000 and is on the way back to China. I'd the air-mouse-remote with it which worked as a pointer/cursor and a keyboard. This works for gaming too and the regular keyboard isn't much use.
It streamed ok but kept freezing, the mouse is a bit cumbersome. XBMC was good as I streamed live sports thru it, Loaded many apps thru the android store.
I would look them up online if I was you. They're are better models of this around for handy money too. I'd try the States for one

Just looked up the Tronsmart MK908ii definitely looks better than the Mele, better wifi I'd say.

I've a Tronsmart Prometheus on order so while awaiting delivery I've been doing some research on xbmc. I've never used it before & I've read that recently there's been a disagreement over add ons amongst developers.
So what I'm wondering is which would be the best set up to start with ; fusion, xunity or superrepo?
Has anyone any recommendations or should I just pick one & see how it goes?
    Any advice is appreciated .

I would go with super repo.it has everything on it.Install to memory stick then install from zip in xbmc.I have used fusion and Xunity but i think super repo is by far the best

HI joecole.I would go with The raspberry pi If i were you.Use raspmc build. Its very easy and cheap to do.I have mine hooked up to my 42"Bravia and it allows me to stream 1080 movies from my pc without a bother. It is great for streaming internet content aswell and you can control it with any idevice or smartphone.
