Whats the story wuth big e and Ambrose

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Yeah I thought it was Axel v BiG E:confused:

Just turned it on myself tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭Ridley

Axel injured so Kofi Kingston vs Damien Sandow took that match's place on the pre-show.

Big E was with the experts or whatever when The Shield did a bit on the titantron. Langston challenged Ambrose, he said no (IIRC) then the match still happened somehow. :P

Nice that the crowd was into it but what little interest I had in the match itself was gone when Heyman didn't enter the cell.

If Cena wins Bryan is screwed

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 621 ✭✭✭rude awakening

Cant see Cena winning tonight, SurviverSeries is in Boston. He'll end up winning there IMO

Say whatever else you like about Cena, but when it comes to recovering from injuries the guy is some kind of mutant.

    Cena gets his Miami win.

Glad he is back but not involved with the authority storyline.

Ouch, my stream isn't the greatest but it looked like Tamina smacked her face hard off the side of the ring there.

If that PPV sucked when did WWE not suck?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭Rjd2

Poor ending, no heat, just pure silence. A match that did **** all for either wrestlers. Not good business sense to keep giving us these type cluster**** endings either.

Boooourns to Randy Orton winning the WWE Championship

Orton and Cena are #1 and #2 guys.

We're back into the post-WM28 vacuum, methinks, and no amount of 'wait & see' really compensates for selling three PPVs on the back of screwy finishes.

The obvious route is for Bryan to roll through HHH, some obstacle at TLC en route to the Rumble and get a marquee shot at WM, but considering the crowd have gotten so many false-endings to this story, it's going to dilute, plans'll change, and I fear Bryan will eventually end up in the dreaded 'too big to be left of the card' slot occupied by Orton/Sheamus/Show/Kane the last couple of years.

Nah Bryan will get his moment, they got to stop with the stipulations and he screwy endings though, it's getting tiresome.

It could be to late, the E crowd can be fickle and you can't keep doing silly swerves like this, Ryback last year lost heat doing this.

Bryan isn't Ryback though, as I said the swerves have to end, Bryan needs to face Triple H or something and then focus on the title. Fans want it so quick these days, Austin and Michaels were over for years before they won the title.

A part of me hopes that CM Punk was watching the Bryan/Orton match and he kicks off RAW tomorrow night and drops a pipebomb on The Authority & Randy Orton for holding Bryan back from what should be rightfully his..... The WWE Championship

To edge away from the rotten, trigger-shy, 'wait and see'-centric schwaddle that was a the main-event:

The tag-opener was worth laying down money for.

Aw, Jesus, there's an ADR/Cena rematch coming, isn't there? Just waive ADR's clause, and send Cena onto something else. ADR enraptures me between bells, but anything he's asked to carry with character just makes mighty yawns form.

    Kane's whipped big brother's 2012 wig, seemingly.

CM Punk is finally a free character again; that'll be noteworthy. I kinda enjoyed the match too.

Main event suffered from what is Shawn Michaels going to do. Bryan and Orton seem to have better matches on Raw and Smackdown.

Tag team match was gold, I loved Cody suplexing Rollins to the outside.

Del Rio is one of the best performers in WWE at the moment. Not the most compelling guy on the Mic

    Always nice to see Kane.

Just LOL at that ending. WWE never fail to serve up complete tripe.

Bryan's character is ruined. It would have taken a lot after Summerslam to do it, but WWE somehow found the perfect mix of successive beatings, screwy finishes and The Big Show.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

Got up at 3:30am to watch it delayed because have to work today, thought it was an excellent show myself, and pleased that Cena, Orton and Punk all won, feel like the right guys all won here in the three main matches.

Really enjoyed the WWE Championship match. Most people crap all over outside interference, screwy finishes and heel turns, but I thought it added terrific drama to the match, and to be honest I'm glad Orton won here. I don't agree with saying Bryan's character or momentum is ruined, fans still love him and he's worshipped in every arena he goes, and there's still a sense of 'when' not 'if' he is going to eventually win that belt. May not be until Wrestlemania 30 now but still the longer they leave it, the more satisfying the pay-off. Like someone else said, Austin didn't win his first WWE title until the 1998 Wrestlemania, almost 2 years after he won the 1996 King of the Ring.

Punk/Heyman feud has perhaps come to an end now but wouldn't be surprised to see Heyman get a yet another new 'guy', maybe Mark Henry if he's ready, and stretch the feud out another month, but I see no reason why Punk shouldn't be back in a title picture now.

Cena looked great, but it didn't really feel like he was gone that long, just felt like he was gone for a couple weeks vacation with a subtle "welcome back" with a pat on the back. It didn't have half the emotion of when Triple H returned from injury. But he looked good and had a decent match, I can't really see the feud being that entertaining at all, but Cena and Del Rio will always have good matches together.

It's just not possible to have long term feuds anymore - there is far too much wrestling on tv and ppv to keep peoples interest in Bryan/Orton/H.

They've completely killed Bryan's momentum. Whether that wasn't their intention I'm not sure. If he wins it won't mean half as much as it would have had he won the title on the ppv after he was screwed at Summerslam.

They could have f*cked him over along the way and prolonged the feud.

The finishes and constantly pointing out his weaknesses are the stupidest thing I have ever seen in wrestling.

They may prove me wrong with something Vince does tonight. Don't see how though.

Hopefully Punk gets back into the title picture.

Was slightly expecting a Bryan heel turn(they borked his push since SummerSlam so why not?).
Probably gonna move onto Orton vs Show now as Bryan vs Orton has been done to death with constant screwy finishes to make matters worse.
Pity they never turned ol Hbk when you know last time he was an active wrestla

The triple threat tag team match was one of the best WWE matches ever. Crowd was fantastic, great energy and spots.

Was it just me or did they not actually turn HBK? I think they'll go the route of Bryan attacked HHH and HBK was defending his friend.

How to not have people boo cena when he wins? Have him fight Del Rio, who I don't think anyone likes. :)

So with all the involvement of Big Show in this storyline, he doesn't even attempt to show up?

    Kaitlyn looked well.
