So I got a taxi from an English taxi driver, dressed in a white tracksuit top, from outside ruby lounge last night at 10 pm, to Douglas. Is there any way anyone can help me find out who he was? I've lost my keys and he's my last hope!

Did you see the make or colour of the car? What year was it? Which taxi company actually has that cab??

It was a silver Toyota. Thats all I remember, don't know the taxi company, don't think he was registered but he had a taxi sticker across his door so it was legit.

What exactly does " Don't think he was registered " mean?

Have you tried contacting a few taxi-company head-offices to enquire? If found by the driver, the driver may have brought them in to the company office where they could now be waiting for your collection.

    Just a suggestion,

I don't know if he was registered to any taxi company and I have been ringing round with no luck. I'll keep trying though, thanks

Drivers tend to be creatures of habit and often frequent the same ranks might be able to spot him if you hang around there for an hour or two tonight

I lost my phone in a taxi last Christmas. Rang all the companies several times with no luck. After a week or so I gave up on finding it again but happened to mention it to another taxi man. He knew the one who found my phone and arranged for me to get it back! Taxi men working the same area usually know each other, try asking around. Hope you get your keys back!

or else ring the taxi lost and found in anglesea st- if lost keys are not handed into the taxi base alot of other drivers would drop them to anglesea st at the end of shift.

Dude I know its a bit late now , but use that Hailo app. cuts out all the nonsense.
Best thing is it emails you a receipt with drivers name etc. so if you lose something you know who to ask for.
dead handy for expenses as well.
