Is there a danger in buying a used laptop from a dealer in that the previous owner may have download illegal images and although deleted may still be on hard disc?

What say you to a Dell Inspiron with Vista for €120 - I don't know full spec

To be sure, you can use Ccleaner to "wipe free space" which will thoroughly delete files which could be restored.

Hard to say anything about the laptop without knowing the specs, but it seems to be rather expensive for a laptop which is appr 5 years old. The battery is probably gone.
