    Hi all,
Anyone going to the Accenture Experience Event this week? I'm hoping to get into the management consulting area. Anyone got any feedback on this area, good or bad? Is a technology knowledge base necessary as I'm very much business minded as opposed to technology minded, also, any advise on the recruitment process?
    Thanks.
    Shane.

I suggest going back and looking at some older threads Accenture real life experience has a lot to be desired for.

If you are a graduate you'll be doing testing no matter what role you start in.

That's simply not true. I've been working for Accenture for almost 7 years now and have seen numerous grads working in positions other than testing.

Limpar is right. I've also worked there and the vast majority of grads don't do testing. And those that do, tend to move out of it after a while.

Testing is also not a bad way to learn the ropes.
