Back pay for job seekers allowance

    Hi

    I applied for job seekers allowance at the end of August and got word yesterday that I am entitled to get it. I am curious on am I entitled to back pay and if so for how long and do I apply for it or will they give it to me automatically in the payments?

    You should receive payment from the date you applied less the usual 3 day waiting period.
