So I decided to make a scope cam.
Got a mini DVR (spy camera) off ebay and a lense and made up a casing.
Still have a few issues to tease out but I reckon its gonna work. Its utterly brilliant in the dark with a IR torch.

Disclaimer... In the video link the bottle is swinging from a tree 115yds away and my S410 was running low on juice. Also... Gamo pellets are useless. :p

    Works on the beast too...

How was the super when you applied for the nightvision set up ? Was he ok with vermin shooting at night ?

Ah its not for that. Only something I wanted to make up to do a few scope videos showing bullet drop and Kentucky windage.

Sportsden in trim had nightvision scopes on special offer a while ago, i wondered what the super would say if i applied for one though. The guy in the link below is a wizard at homebuild nightvision, a really good ir torch can be built for very little money.

and this website is also very good and there are lads making some fantastic stuff out of very little.

Yeah sure you can turn any digital camera into night vision by putting an IR bulb into your LED torch and record away.
I still find the red CREE LED on my torch to be the best for bunny bashing.
To be honest this thing would prob just get in the way anyway if I was to hunt with it.

I found that my self. i side mounted a second scope for recording. its out of the way and does not mess with your eyepiece.

At 400 Frames per second as the the above video you can see a sub sonic bullet on its path.
It can do 1200 frames per second as well but needs relay good lighting
