The Late Late Show - 25th October 2013

Well that's it. Ryan is off my Christmas card list this year.

I presume foisted upon him by RTE brass, but nonetheless unforgivable - Warren The BOD Dropper is on tomorrow night.

Assuming the show is not cancelled during the next 24 hours due to security concerns that angry crowds may be unmanageable by the Garda, or Warren doesnt do the decent thing and cry off, I hereby call for an all out boycott of the show.

    I like Warren............:D

Sure Mr. T hasn't a clue about rugby anyway, he'll ask him about his granny's cat or something equally interesting.......

He'll probably be sitting in a chair behind a desk again! C'mon Tubs, shake off the archaic shackles.

Kimberley Walsh has to have Irish roots. That is two minutes of that interview slot covered for Tubs. Who the hell is this Warren character you are on about?

I'm presuming it's Warren Gatland COYW the op is talking about - pity they couldn't get the two together on the one show, but then again if they were I wouldn't want Mr. T interviewing them....:o

His Father is from Fermanagh, his Mother is from Fiji, and he has lots of fadas in his name ...

Yes, Cork GAA Superstar Seán Óg Ó H'Ailpín will be in to plug his new book.

The very talented Jack L will perform on the LLS, ahead of his upcoming gig in the National Convention Centre

    mem_2.jpg

Hopefully more people will turn up to see him at the Convention Centre than stayed to see him in Glastonbury the time Welsh Megaman was in the audience.

And here's a Kitty miming to Bob Seger.

Just trying to chip in, gsw :)

Wouldn't it have been funny if Gatland had been on last week with Bod?

    No, no it wouldn't.

I would have respect for DLB if his first question was "Hey Bod Dropper - What the f*** are you doing here?"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,378 ✭✭✭BuilderPlumber

Another bad show from the looks of things? Nothing wrong with some of the guests at all but it is what the presenter will be asking them!!

Irish roots? Warren Gatland's grandchildren? Airhead talk about nothing? It's the one and only Tubridy Show!

Would have been nice if they had Alex Ferguson on plugging his book, perhaps when he is over here in 2 weeks time plugging the book for Easons. Subtitles might be required but I think he would be a very interesting guest none the less :D

"Seán Óg Ó hAilpín.... his father's from Fermanagh, his mother's from Fiji, neither one of them a hurling stronghold." Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh.

I just love that quote. Don't worry gsw, I will watch Sean Og for you ;)
I think he will be an easy interviewee, plenty to say, comes across as a nice character, but can already imagine Tubs making a mess of interviewing him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,738 ✭✭✭✭Ol' Donie

Hey, looks like a decent guest list again. Nice one. SeanOg is a great fella, Ryan won't get a word in during that interview.

And come to think of it now guys!

Tonight is the very first time that the LLS will be shown on the RTE1 HD Trial on Saorview in which we would probably dread for all our sake's that RT will not mess it up.

    Guest list tonight = Good

    Tubridy doing it = Bad

I wonder what he & the guests will be like in specialised HD make-up.

Mr. Lukeman performed right after an unknown Devon trio called Muse...pfft! Where are they now?

Other music delights tonight from Villagers and the hit musical 'Wicked'. :)

Gatland made some interesting comments about Keith Wood, calling him "a me feiner" last night. Surely Tubs will explore this avenue which will make for a tense pulsating interview. Then again Tubs cue card was probably printed on Tuesday so expect no deviation from protocol...

Graham Norton has Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Saunders and Cher.
    Oh and erm....Robert de Niro
    Sigh:rolleyes:

Looks like he's grown up to be considerably more than "half the man his father was". Either that or you've accidentally posted a picture of Peter Kay.

I wonder if Ryan will ask for Peters reaction to his mothers interview with Gaybo. Either way I hope the interview goes well for him.

Line up doesn't look too bad but sorry I won't be able to join you all this evening. Goldenboy (AKA youngest son) is flying home for the weekend tonight. I will be busy doing my impressions of the Mammy from the ESB ad. Cakes are baked, dinner ready, beer chilled awaiting his return. Enjoy the show and hope to catch up tomorrow.
