New CPU and Motherboard

    Hi,
    If I want to upgrade my CPU and motherboard - I have an i7 that's about 4 years old - will I need to reinstall windows ?

    Is it true that most new motherboards BIOS only support windows 8 ?

    If I want to keep Windows 7 will that be possible ?
