Hey guys, does anyone know where original bands went to ? Did they disappear along with The Cruiscin..bring back Time Is A Thief, 10 past seven,New Mind Line, Waiting Room, Ideal End etc
We're creative enough to come up with originality but where did it all go ???

Yeah them too but that's the problem, people dont remember great original bands..nearly every musician wanted ad is Dublin based and/or cover bands..Cork needs a new wave of originality...more bands need to give it a lash & share some great music

Lots of talented young musicians are gone to other countries in the last few years as well.
Dublin is just bigger and proportionally will always have more bands and musicians than Cork.

Very much agreed. I could add about 20 more to your list. The late-2000s was a great scene

Ideal End played a bit of a reunion gig at the end of August. Their guitarist now plays with my band (shameless plug!) Reverend Green goes to Jail. Two bands I'd strongly recommend checking out if you see them around also are NOD and Root.
