    Date: October 26, 2013
    Location: Manchester, England
Broadcast: FOX Sports 2 7.30-11.30 (our time)
The event kicks off with six prelims on MMAjunkie.com (as well as Facebook and Youtube) at 12:15 p.m. ET (9:15 a.m. PT), followed by the six-fight main card at 3 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 2. The early start time accounts for the time difference, where the first fight is slated for 5:15 p.m. BST

Great to have a card on at a normal hour for a change

I'd like to see pearson come away with a win above anyone

jimmo /manuwa should be a good scrap while it lasts

Ogle/barnatt have tough tasks ahead of them imo

not sure how the main event will pan out but I'd be
thinking it won't be the most exciting to watch

MAIN CARD (FOX Sports 2, 3 p.m. ET)
    Lyoto Machida vs. Mark Munoz
    Melvin Guillard vs. Ross Pearson
    Ryan Jimmo vs. Jimi Manuwa
    Norman Parke vs. Jon Tuck
    Nicholas Musoke vs. Alessio Sakara
    Phil Harris vs. John Lineker

    PRELIMINARY CARD 12:15 p.m. ET
    Piotr Hallmann vs. Al Iaquinta
    Luke Barnatt vs. Andrew Craig
    Jessica Andrade vs. Rosi Sexton
    Cole Miller vs. Andy Ogle
    Jimy Hettes vs. Robert Whiteford
    Michael Kuiper vs. Brad Scott

Apparently, the prelims are only going to be online since they cant be aired that early in the UK on BTSports. This obviously has a knock-on effect on the Setanta broadcast of it over in Ireland.

Seems like such a quandary to be in since it's the first UK card in a while, you'd really want it to be putting it on front and centre. Since broadcasting laws are preventing the airing of combat sports before that time they've got their hands tied.

Not for free. It's 16 quid a month. Their sales line is 1890 940 070 and they should set you up.

Nice submssion by Michael Scott. Most likely signal a cut for Kuiper

Any clue if the prelims will still be available on youtube or MMA junkie etc after the fact or are they just running live.

Can't watch at the minute but was hoping to catch them later.

Does anyone else think the end of the Whiteford - Hettes fight was ridiculous? Neil Hall noted Hettes used fingers in the cage yet didn't do much about it. Not sure if Hettes would have got the position had he not used the fence (although Rogan's biased commentry would have you believe otherwise)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,923 ✭✭✭kearneybobs

It looked like he kept on using his fingers in the cage even after the ref told him not to.

Brad Scott looked really good in his fight. Looks like one to watch in the future. He's pretty funny too if my memory of him in the TUF smashes house is right.
Cant see Ogle winning this one. I'd imagine that if he doesn't win, The Little Axe will get the cut.....I'll get my coat.

Ah I thought he was robbed against Corasani but it wouldn't look good.

Both Munoz and Machida looked really well.
Miller's reach and ground game dominated the first round.

    Miller by ground humping decision.

Rogans commentary is ridiculously biased tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,923 ✭✭✭kearneybobs

That sweep by Miller was something special.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,961 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    fair play to ogle

    finished strong
    some good escapes earlier

lucky for him he didnt face conor though

That was on par with Cain/Bigfoot. Grim to watch at times.

Craig by TKO in the 2nd.

Sexton showed why female fighters who don't regularly fight at 135, should not fight at that class. The top fighters are too big for opponents who move up to the class from 115 or 125.

He suffered from a case of premature celebration - i'll get my coat :o

He knocked Craig down twice and celebrated before he finished the job. Eventually got it done with a rear naked choke.

Dropped him in the 1st and celebrated before the ref called it and then did the same again in the 2nd.

Got 2 knockdowns instead of going in for the kill both times he raised his hands in celebration thinkin he'd nothing else to do, real tosser carry on wished It came back to haunt him meself.

Pretty good show from Luke Barnatt. Should let the referee decide when it's over. Could have been made to look pretty stupid there. I like Luke. Always a good sport when it comes to appearing on Podcasts etc and and can fight too. Which is always a bonus in this sport.

Christ, this BT sports presenter is very attractive but utterly clueless. Could they not have gotten someone with experience or at least knows about the sport?
