    I picked up a second hand 500 a fue months ago. It works fine but has signs of wear and a couple of tiny cracks. Anyone know can I buy a new case and swap the guts of mine into it? Have only done a little research online.

    Why not just get the silicon case to cover it? amazon and wiggle stock them.

    Yeah I know its an option alright. Just wanted to make sure no moisture could get in. Cheers.

    Garmin wont sell spare cases anyway and I dont think there is an after market option. If you are worried about the cracks in the case, get some fish tank silicon and apply it to the cracks with a cocktail stick.
