Looks a bit like the 2011 profile as well. Has anyone climbed the Hautacam?

    Many times including today.

It is the hardest climb used by Le Tour in the Pyrenees. From Argeles the first 2km are not so bad. It soon kicks up and remains steep up to the village of Artalens with 10km to go. From Artalens there is an 8km section of pure suffering. It undulates between -10% and plus 16%. There are km boards every km, some of which lie. They will say 9% and then the road goes down steeply for 100m. The one at 3km to go is wrong. It says 9% but it is actually 11%. The last km eases off to 7% and the view from the top is fantastic.

It's a good wide road with a good surface. The descent is fun.

I think the only option available once the online booking is done is to go with an approved travel agent. You'll unfortunately have to pay the higher price, ~€200 for entry.

Took two separate sessions to book it. One to register your details first and then actually queueing of the tickets online. Sitting looking at a number counting down on the the screen. I'm going to use a 52/36 used it at the marmotte. It's the heat that gets you!
