Do ye think 3 weeks is a bit long for the non appearance of a blue card. Calf was born 3rd Oct. I sent registration off a couple of days later and I've got the BVD status report back within about 2 days. No sign of the card yet (post has just been today).

ya sounds off..id give them a ring, i had something similar whereby i registered a calf that a very young heifer had, i got letter out to be signed by vet confirming heifer age. vet send it off but no card came, waited ages, rang dept..they told they had never received anything from vet...told me they would send out another form to be re signed, then by a miracle within a few days blue card arrived with a warning letter telling me if i delayed registering a calf again they would restrict my herd..fcukers

Well, I'm still waiting! Rang them, they sent me a form and it's gone about a week by now/ Will ring again if it's not here with tomorrow's post.

    Any joy with the card?

After reading your post I took note of how long it takes to get the cards. I registered 5 calves on agfood.ie on Saturday night and the cards arrived yesterday. If you can register online. It takes out all the human error imo.

It's finally arrived today dated the 4th November which is more than a month after the calf was born!

Towzer: I don't register on line because up to recently we were in a 'black spot' where broadband was concerned and it was impossible to do anything. I never bothered changing as this is the first time I've had any problems, but I may eventually have to join the 21st century!
