Hi apologies if this has been covered before but I'm thinking of buying a car tomorrow that hasn't been declared off the road will I be liable for any outstanding tax if I do buy or will I only be liable from date of purchase?

From date of purchase you would be liable, depending on the car if the tax is mega money might be worth holding off sale date until 1st November as this month is nearly up.
