setting up a business?

Hi guys. So I have been buying and selling for awhile and want to make it into something legit. I know about the CRO and those things bit what confuses me is the tax thing. How do I pay it? When do I pay it? Who do I pay it to? How to I apply to pay it? You get Tue point, I haven't a clue about tax . Cheers

Thank you for that, it clears it up a bit for me. The only question I have is about the 2 forms. One for individual/ sole trader and the other for company. As I will have to register the name with CRO does that mean I use the company form or sole trader? I will be working alone with no employees

You have to choose whether you want to be a sole trader or to set up a company. A company can have 1 employee but needs 2 directors usually.
