Hi all. So got a new tablet a few days ago, for easier travel to college, as my laptop is very large. Everything running grand on it. All bar the Netflix app.

I've had Netflix for a while, and it's working perfectly fine on my laptop, wii and sisters ipad. But after I downloaded the app, it just doesn't want to work.

The menu loads up, I can go through the catalog. But when I click on a title, it goes onto the red load screen, the buffer circle appears, but it doesn't do anything. First I thought it was taking a while to load, but no, left it for a long time and nothing. The connection is fine, as everything works fine.

I've tried uninstalling it, clearing cache partitions and all but nothing is fixing it.

I've checked netflix support, but all the have about stuck on red load screen is for XBox or PS3!!

The tablet is running 4.1 Jellybean, 1GM Ram and 1.2 Ghz processor, so I think they should allow it to run, or is this the problem??

Are you doing this over Home WIFI or 3G?

You could try an older version of the app. 1.8.1 runs on a nasty chinese tablet I have that doesn't run the up to date version.

Tried upgrading to Netflix 3.0? Not sure if it's available on Android < 4.3.
