Deus Ex: Directors Cut out Friday 25th Oct

Anybody get Deus Ex DC on Friday? I completely forgot about it until I saw review on IGN this morning (whats up with the new website on phones?) it got 8.3 there which is good.

Now, the usual price situation, so Amazon are charging £23.99 (about €28) which is fine, but Gamestop (:rolleyes:) are charging €69.99 on their website. Smyths dont seem to have it listed.

Anyone thinking of getting it? I never played the original, but heard great things.

Haha, I ordered it off amazon, including slow post it comes to €30. So should have it this Monday or Tuesday. Nice.

Preordered it when I got Rayman Legends (have an unplayed 360 copy already). That Gamestop price

The gas thing is was talkin to a member of gamestop staff today and said jesus whats with gamestop prices of late especially gta 5 etc he simply said ray i cant discuss that instore for fear of being heard but yes prices are disgusting and customers are venting atbus staff daily. He said that head office said anyonebquestions prices fob then off at any cost and make the sale.. lovely attitude from gamestop

Minute my xbox one arrives i will not buy from tgem again online all the way

Nope, massive amount of content, including daily and weekly challenges and many levels from Origins (which I was happy to replay!)

Jaysus, that's bad, but I am not suprised at Gamestop head office's attitude one bit, they are a major retail company and there are plenty of 'non-gamers' aka Mammies and Daddies who will question the very LARGE prices in there but will pay it coming up to Xmas sadly. Only pushes us to Online prices and Download only (I know the eshop prices are crap but PSN prices are very good!)


So I ordered Dues Ex and Wonderful 101 for total of €72, €36 each including postage (free:D) brilliant! Won't get them until next Tuesday or Wednesday but I have WWHD to finish and Pikmin 3, Pokemon Y and M&L Dream Team to start as well.

Didn't want to pay €59.99 for W101 in Gamestop since it was released in August.


EDIT: Also, on a side note of buying from Gamestop, I picked up Pikmin 3 and M&L Dream Team last Tuesday in there, new copies, staff guy gave me both games opened, no plastic wrapping on them. I asked can I get new copies please, said they are new copies then went on to tell me I could get both games second hand for €10 cheaper, said no thanks, as I want Ninty to get my money not Gamestop(said to myself of course). I really HATE the way they open all the new games, whats the point when you're paying full price for a 'new' game when its been opened already.

At least I know with Amazon etc I am guaranteed to get my new game in it's wrapping, its a silly thing tbh but I like opening my own games that I have paid a lot of money god damn it Gamestop! Dont they get display boxes in every store?

So I got Deus Ex:DC in the post this morning (still in its wrapping :-), going to give it a shot tonight. Anyone pick it up and play yet? What ya's think?

Saw in Gamestop yesterday they are charging €69.99 for the WiiU version and €65 for the 360 & PS3 versions too. Mind boggels.

i never buy from gamestop cause I dont like the manager , was awful cheeky with me one day when I went there and was giving me **** cause I don't sell my games

it is 2 for €50 or €29.99 now on all consoles in Gamestop
