    Hi

How long does a Grant of Probate take to issue in Cork. I'm a solicitor in the West, client (from Mallow) died and we've the file.

i can apply to the Office in Dublin and it's around 4 months for a grant nowadays. Is the District Registry in Cork any quicker?

    chers

    I.

    Hello GrumpyTrousers,

Apologies for posting here but I dont know where else to post.

My grandfather Passed away recently and my mother will receive his estate due to innate succession. The case is very straight forward as all of his estate was collected by my mother and put into the wards of court when he got sick. There is no contentions. However, it looks like she wil be paying the solicitor >€6,500 when all that has to be done is finalise any debt, get grant of probate and letter of admin. Is this overpriced ?

    Thanks
