Cancelled Delta flight Monday?

Anyone know what happened or what the story is with a Delta flight think to new York? Yesterday evening T2 delta ticket desk was packed obviously a whole flight. But there are no delta flights in the evening. Was there a flight diverted, the morning flight got cancelled? Just strange to keep people there for over 8hrs if…

DL91 to JFK was cancelled yesterday evening around 18.45 having been delayed all day, some very angry people came off that aircraft yesterday evening.

they were pushed back off the parking stand twice. but then they came back both times.
computer fault.

I believe that the final reason for cancellation was that the crew were out of hours. I can only imagine the frustration the passengers were feeling. A very long few days for people.
