Question about Selling an Effects Pedal

Hi All - Apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

I have an original Boss CE-1 guitar pedal that I've been using less and less recently.

I've seen some places online selling them second-hand but mostly are in the USA and it's hard to get a gauge on prices so I'm wondering if I'd be better off holding onto it, even if purely as a collector's item.

Anyone know if there's a market for them? Obviously if it was going to be worth a significant amount I'd probably hang onto it - likewise if it was going to go for a pittance, I might as well use it as a doorstop. If there was a mid-range market for it I'd probably sell it on and get some new gear with the proceeds.

That's a bit confusing, but any advice is appreciated!

There'll be a market for it, but you have to remember that Ireland isn't great for selling gear, particularly collector's pieces.

My advice would be to stick it up on ebay with a reserve on it, and ship it off to some collector who's willing to pay for it.

I sold a CE1 vintage jobby on adverts but I think I got lucky. Better to stick it on ebay me thinks.
