Hi, I am trying to plan out doing a ski season, I had planned on hitting up Canada but the cost factor of it is putting me off.

I was thinking on heading to France, hopfully val thoren, been there twice and loved the place!!

Has any one any experience of a season in France? Any things I should know.

I was thinking I could do a month without working or a full season working....

Where to start? Most jobs for the season will probably be gone now, especially the good stuff. Although vacancies normally appear in Jan when, seasoinaires get injured, catch some kind of STI or get fired by the end of December.

You will pick up work handy enough in most resort VT has tons of British Companies based there making a little easier to get work with them. You will need sock, lots of socks! Some WD40 and duct tape. Easiest jobs to get are the really crap stuff Kitchen, hands etc. Chalet work and driving is a pretty easy number too if you have a full license etc.

Have a look at www.natives.co.uk for season jobs. and tons of advice forums.

Best of luck and have a powder filled and happy season.

Bus license, will stand to you, the driving gig is quite good the way it works its 3 days on 2 off normally. Try Cham express as a start. they normally always have jobs right up to the start of the season.
