    I'm looking to upgrade the sound on my entertainment system. The only device I have at the moment is a Raspberry Pi running XBMC. I will shortly be installing a DVB-S2 card in my microserver to stream UK Freesat to my Pi. Irish Saorview comes over the in-built tuner in the tv, which is an LG 37LD450 i.e. 37". The microserver also streams all of our movies / box sets to the Pi.

    I'm thinking either a soundbar or a 5.1 surround sound although I'm not too keen on either the cost of the 5.1 system or the cables running everywhere.
