    Hi guys,

Just wanted to ask the question to fellow musicians.

I have a Peavey Bandit guitar amp that I will be selling in the coming days.

I was thinking adverts.ie but it doesnt seem to be getting a lot of traffic for amps from what I can see.

Are there any other better sites or places to sell amps these days?

The last time I sold amps/guitars was when I was about 15. Damn hording!! :o

    Cheers.

    Ps... Mods..
I'm genuinely just lookin for advice on this from people who I'm sure buy and sell musical gear regularly. I dont hence the need for advice.
I purposely havent given any links or asked anyone to buy it.
If theres a better place for this to go for me to get an answer please feel free to move it or close it if you have to. Thanks.

Sorry, but it looks like a disguised advert to me.

If everyone posted like this, looking for advice, it would not be long before the forum became clogged with "advice seekers."

Whatever you want to think Rigsby but if I had wanted to advertise it I would have put details on the post. Even if it were taken down in minutes it still would have been a quick bit of advertising. I didnt do this. Im genuinely looking to see are there any other places to sell my guitar amp. That it is.

Well..I did originally say "disguised". It would have been too blatant to put in all the details.

You are correct...this is just my opinion. It's for the mods to decide. :)

Thats laughable. How is it disguised?? I havent even put the item up for sale yet!

And your right on one thing anyway it is up to the mods to decide. Not you. You know why? Its because your not a mod.

Back seat modding at its worst.

By the way if you bothered to look at the original post you will see that I eluded to the mods in it.

Anyway your boring me now. Go ruin someone elses thread. You obviously have very little to be doing.

Rigsby used to be a mod didn't he? Boards have fairly strick rules to keep stuff on track (unintentionally fallen foul of them myself) I wouldn't get to wound up by it.

    Anyhoo...

I've sold stuff online and it's hit n miss (a lot of miss) but if you haven't already you might as well put it everywhere (Gumtree, Buyandsell, Adpost etc.)

Musicmaker (maybe other music shops as well) sell 2nd if it's in good enough condition. You'd take a hit on the sale price but at least you'd offload it without the hassle/wait.
