Physical Relaxation.

    I think the best way to deal with anxiety and stressful situations is to learn how to relax physically. Well one of the best ways anyway.

    I find the following relaxation exercise an absolute gem.



    Some tips when using this video.

    1. Try it at least twice a day, maybe once in the morning and again in the evening.
    2. Make sure you are not going to be disturbed.
    3. Loosen any tight clothing, jewelry, belt etc.
    4. Concentrate on the word relax or a peaceful/favourite image.
    5. Breath in and out through your nose. Make sure your breathing raises your belly and not your chest. This is very important.
    6. You can lie down on a bed or sit down in a comfortable chair.

    The video I've posted is exercise 1. I will post up exercise 2 and 3 later.

    This video contains the quick and differential relaxation exercises 2 and 3 as a follow on from exercise 1, posted above.

    You should only move unto these exercises when you've mastered exercise 1.
