The things we do to get a picture!! It's become an addiction:D

I have the flu, but even that's not keeping me from going out and getting a shot - went out towards the coast last night and got some pictures of local tidal flooding and swans. Was hoping the sun would break through but no.....

Shots need some work as I wasn't focusing properly and doing handheld and there were people actually walking a flooded road:eek: like it was a walk at the beach!!

So lighting and cropping are in order - also too many telephone lines again:(

And now, now I've a headache, and feel worse:rolleyes::o Wonder why.......:P

Am I the only mad one??:D

Not a bit mad. Just wish I felt the same. Have lost my urge to get out and take photos. My motivation has disappeared. :(
Need to get my act together.

Its very easy to lose motivation, I couldn't find the time in the summer with the kids being off school and trouble with teens started, it puts everything on hold!!

But sometimes we need to put things aside and get out - I find when I get behind the lens I forget all my troubles:D Easier said than done when single, and one of my kids is too young to leave at home alone:(

I never just go on a sunny day, it can be stormy, misty, raining, it doesn't matter I will be on the hunt for a shot!! And always look behind you, the perfect shot could be right there;)

Try taking a shot on the way to or from work, as it might motivate you again :-) Do you have a photo buddy? What camera do you use?

I have Canon 50D. I just need to make time I suppose but with 2 teenagers, work plus housework it's tough. I also work about 2 mins from home. lol. Photos en route not really an option.

I know the feeling, it's all go, go, go!! Do the teens go to clubs/sports/hobbies/friends and get dropped off there?? Take the camera with you everywhere you go is my best advice, as you might spot a shot, and the camera will be on the computer desk at home!!:D;)

the best way to kick start motivation for me, is to look up some mad tutorials or something. learn a new PP technique or push yourself out of your comfort zone, like taking some street shots or something. it can be tough though, when you have a busy life!
