I only got 2 dozen or something. Even then I only talk to a fraction of them.
Never got the point of having hundreds of friends. Because you are just adding acquaintances or people you barely know. Whats the point?

Don't get me wrong, I was guilty of adding loads of people on bebo years ago ... But I am no longer 21, immature and I now see the whole bollocks of it all :P

Unfortunately, a few years ago I had the mispleasure of bumping into an ex-colleague I had deleted. He'd been in Australia for 2 years at that point and I doubted I'd ever see him again in real life. After saying hello, the next thing he said to me was "YOU DELETED ME FROM FACEBOOK!!".. I was a bit morto but moreso for him.

It hasn't stopped me deleting people though.

less than 100, my rule for facebook is if I wouldn't have a pint or a coffee in real life with you then why would I add you on facebook, it works well.

I have 54, know them all personally and would meet them from time to time. Mostly college friends, family, cousins etc. I know some people have thousands which is plainly pointless. I don't understand the significance if becoming fiends with some randomer 9 time zones away.
