My son's bike was stolen from the front of the house during the week. I had welded up a bike rack, and the deal was that they lock their bikes every night. Of course, he forgot, and now it is gone. He is heartbroken, and I would love to just buy him a new one, but he has to learn. So I have a frame, wheels, tyres and a decent crank set. Looking for flat bars, shifters, and any mtb stuff. He has some cash saved and is willing to spend it.

I should have some 8sp and 9sp mtb shifters in the shed somewhere (alivio or something like that), maybe some derailers, too.
    I'm in south Dublin.

That would be brilliant. PM me if you find any. The stolen bike had trigger shifters, and he's reluctant to go back to gripshift. We have a kellys frame, so don't want to stick complete rubbish onto it. I'm fairly handy, so condition isn't overly important.
