Plant trailer info

    Was thinking of getting a good second hand 10x6' -ish plant trailer for a variety of purposes. Anyone know if the rear ramp or skids can typically be detached to allow a pallet be loaded on the back? (As opposed to a flat bed trailer with demountable skids).

    On the ifor williams they cant as standard anyway. a pallet will go on with a second pallet to push the first one iykwim. the predator trailers with two independant ones can be taken off with a bit of messing. Would a beavertail be an option. i know personally i wouldnt buy a plant trailer again. They can be very limited in their own right. make sure you buy the heavy duty version whatever you do the lighter ones can be very easiliy reshaped if they get any form of hardship.

    Buy a normal fllat trailer unless you have a mini digger to constantly move about cos you could always get ramps made for the flat trailer if you wanted them after.
