    Hi,

Trying to get an idea of how much resistance various rollers offer and their suitability for various types of training.

Anybody out there with a roller and power meter who can return gearing/rpm/watt and of course the name of the roller ?

For example on my fluid based trainer I can tell you that

    An 80KG bloke, i.e. me :) , in a 53/15 gear pedalling at 95rpm requires 325 watts

    Thanks Paul.

What are you using to give you your power output?

I can easily get do 3 minute intervals @ 320W without going anywhere near the 53x13. It's all about tire pressure really

What type of roller is it ? And presumably your RPM is reasonable ?
