The raised platform should be interesting. How high?

What will the rule be for falling off? Will a strike/throw off be scored different than a push?

    1meter high

Push outs and fight outs (strike / throw) are always scored differently. This must be the most misunderstood rule of sanda! Pushy pushy never is given equal status with kicking someone into the middle of next week! ;-)

    1. A push out scores 1 point end of story. You can push people out until the cows come home.

    2. A fight out scores 2 points. 3 x fight outs IN A SINGLE ROUND = win the round. (It happens but rarely on a 8m x 8m platform.)

Point 2. I find Is often confused with the rule for 8 counts - 3 of which over the ENTIRE fight ( just like amateur boxing ) win the fight.

Hope that helps clarify some of the formats rules?

You might want to state more clearly what date it's on.
