What made me laugh is that this is the second coming of this thread

There is a certain irony to that.

I think this is the funniest bit:
Named as Alireza M (37), he is now being nursed to recovery in preparation for his repeat hanging. To the dismay of his family, Iranian judicial authorities are waiting for him to make a full recovery before they hang him again, according to the state-run Jam-e-Jam newspaper.

They have to bring him back to health before they can attempt to execute him again.

Jam-e-jam sounds like a serious and reputable newspaper and nothing at all like some hip condiment store

this part made me wonder if it was Jam by Chris Morris:

“I am appalled by the ghastly plan to ‘re-execute’ a man who had been hanged, certified as dead and whose body had been turned over to his family before he revived,” Amnesty’s Drewery Dyke said.

Because this is not a punishment, it's revenge.

They want him to suffer before dying. Because apparently Allah is too incompetent to be trusted with doing it in the afterlife.

You'd think some of these eejits would reckon oul Allah sent him back as a "miracle"?

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Apparently some Ayatollah has said he shouldn't be re-strung up.

    Which is nice.
