Tubridy will probably pre-record Disease of the Week so he can watch Beatle Paul.

That's some lineup in fairness, Norton's show is by far the best chat show on British and Irish tv at the moment, it's actually fun to watch instead of the RTE misery porn bonanza

I hope they all turn up on time and stay until the end.

The dynamic was slightly jarred last week with guests arriving late and leaving early.

Another excellent line-up, if anything he might have too many guests.

That's certainly a big line-up, is the sofa wide enough for all 5, although isnt the Thor premiere on, maybe Hemsworth+Portman will arrive later on?

James Corden can sit in the red chair to make room :D

Seriously, anyone that chooses to watch the late late show over graham norton, deserves to have their head examined.

Stellar line up like always with graham, I expect it to be a great show tonight (Indiana jones was a bit stiff last week, regardless of grahams best efforts).

Different target groups in fairness. LLS is more suited for the older viewer and Norton for anyone under 40

Then why is the late late show thread always so popular in this forum

    I never understood that.

If you follow it some Friday evening you will understand it's popularity.

It's the thread that's popular not the programme.

This is a good question - McCartney usually tops the bill of everything solo. I think he said in a recent interview about being offered the opening of Rio 14 that he's sick and tired of that and imagines everyone else is too. He'll probably play support for the first time since Jesus upstaged him at the crucifixion.

I only saw the repeat the other day, sheesh Harrison was a dud. He did not want to be there.

    Poor comparison IMO.;)
More like sitting in heavy traffic on the M50 wondering would you be better off exiting at the next junction have a cuppa and wait for the misery to be over or stay on in the hope the traffic will suddenly get better.
It rarely does, but you never get that cuppa either.:(

Irish people seem to like hearing about other people's misery? Even the so called lighted hearted guests get roped into talking about some tragedy in their lives. Irish people love it and Tubridy knows it. Perhaps that's why?

Today Graham Norton opened the Graham Norton Riverwalk in Bandon, Co. Cork.

Yeah I felt the same as well, so cheap and mean. He's used her as an easy "punchline" a few times before.

Great show tonight. Paul was much better craic than I thought he would have been. Katy perry looked amazing also.

Everyone got involved and pauls new song was pretty good also. I do wish the show was just a bit longer though, as ive been to a live recording of the show before, and a lot of funny segments with the audience and guests dont make the final cut, especially considering the bore on RTE drags on for like 3 hours.

Good fun had on Graham Norton tonite, as he has great rapport with the guests, even though some can be wooden.
The Thor duo only came on with 10m to, & with all that they even found room for the red chair that included a Scotsman with a kilt, you kinda knew he didnt stand a chance of winning.

At the end you had the chance of seeing some highlights of Paul McCartney's performance at BBC studios thru the interactive red button.

Yeah saw that, bit mean alright. I love GN's show and hes a funny guy but I think you could call that susan boyle joke bullying. Its the pack mentality, you get a bunch of people together like that and they'd laugh at anything or anyone. Very cowardly and people need to take individual responsibility and not be just part of the mob.

Not as good a show as last week, the Mc cartney/perry love in was a bit cringey though. Somehow I dont think the same thing would've happened had John lennon been there(and still alive of course). He would've told Katy perry to fook off as soon as she started all the gushing. James cordon didnt get a look in really which is a shame because hes a funny bloke. I've seen Chris Hemsworth being interviewed before and hes also very funny, but himself and natalie portman were there for feckall time. The late late show is about 5 hrs long so I reckon they should add at least another half hour to GN.

Watched GN this morning- going to make a controversial statement now but I enjoyed the LLS more last night.

Just goes to show that if you keep the misery off the LLS how much better it can be. Now having said that, I think there is a place for discussion-based tv, but not on a Friday night after a hard week's work.

Got bored. Flicked over to the repeat of last week's show and watched Harrison Ford instead. Much more enjoyable.
