Height of feed passage

    just after building a slatted shed. must do the concrete work around it yet. there is only about 18 inches between edge of slats and feer barrier. i will have the concrete apron there sloping back to the tank. just wondering will i have to raise my feed passage much higher above the apron.

    would it be ok if i had say a 2 inch fall on the apron and keep the passage the same height as the front or the apron.

    this would mean the feed passage would be 2 inches above the slats

    I'd go a few more inches. The cattle will have better reach as the grub is nearer to them
