How exactly does this work. I'm trying to share my library with my brother but have no idea how to do it. I'm in the beta for it but dont know any more than that

It authorizes your games on the PC.

So you sign in on the family PC, authorize it (in settings > accounts tab I think) and when your grandmother logs in on her steam account, she can pwn noobs in your games.

It took me a while to get the wording too.

The only drawback is that only one person can be playing a game on an account at any one time, but that's fair enough I guess.

It basically removes the need to share a Steam account, which could be a risky business.

It's a pity that even offline only games boot you off when someone else goes to play. I have my parents set up with my Steam account in offline mode so they can play Bejeweled, PVZ, etc. When Valve announced Family Sharing was announced I thought it'd suit them, but not with the current (understandable) restrictions.
