    Much appreciated :D
UTC are insisting only phonewatch can supply them .
    It's a small 6v battery pack ( like Visonics)

I was actually looking for one of these the other day and REW did not have them in stock. He was to get back to me so I will ring him again tomorrow to see if he got any in.

That's not like them at all. Did you ask them to put it by for you and you were on the way to collect it?

If this is the same battery I think it is try Maplin. Not cheap but may have the one you need.

Post a picture of the battery next to a ruller and I may be able to comfirm.

No, it is a 6V battery for the Simon, Maplin do not stock this battery. They do stock the 12V battery needed for most alarms. From memory they are about €45 from them.

Did you get the pack with AA batteries enclosed in plastic ? Should have a power clip coming from it .
