back to education allowence only getting 160

    Hello i was just wondering why i am only gettin 160 euro on the back to education allowance when it says anyone that was on back to education allowance before jan 2013 will still get the full 188 euro only people that have takin a year off will be treated as a new applicant i was on it only last year doing the first year of my course gettin 188 now im getting 160 and i cant do it because i have to pay 70 euro a week on travel never mind food dose anybody know if i should be gettin the full amount i am under 25 in case you were wondering and if i cant get the full amount dose anybody know if i could apply for some sort of travel allowance

    Everything sorted thanks mango salsa. Although first time I rang the local office I was told it was a adjustment and was not a mistake due to the budget of 2013, I tried to explain to him I was claiming before and after the budget but still stuck to his word even though it stated on the citizens information website the budget has no effect on applicants claiming before the budget 2013. Rang back the following day greeted with a much nicer member of the social welfare everything sorted then and there.

    Quick question, the budget of next year how is this going to effect us regarding BTA?
