Are the wheels that come with the Planet X pro carbon any good or would they be the first thing to upgrade?

Top class bike (as above) I had a Giant Defy carbon before I got my Planet X and now think the X is a better bike :D also the lads in Planet X are sound to deal with.

They do exactly what I need them to do

I have no issues but it is my first proper bike, so maybe I am not the right person to ask.

    Thanks lads.

Is this bike just for order or can you buy of the shelf

The wheels are ok and will do you fine for the winter then you can always up grade them next year .
You have to go down to them to order the bike unless you know what size bike is for you .

If you can afford to wait 2-4 months, you might pick up a 2013 model several hundred euro cheaper. 1500 euro could get you a bike that cost 2000 euro a few months ago.

Can go to the shop in Athlone and depending on stock can buy it off the peg.

Picked up one of these a few weeks ago, i emailed and got an extra £100 off.....postage was £70 so effectively only got 30 off!

Came in round €1650.....very happy with it and decent value considering full ultegra and after weighing the wheels they're similar weight to my Zondas.

I'd love a tcr but none seem to be available in Ireland :-(
My other option is defy composite 1 for 1800 with no wheels as I have my own don't no wat to do

Why not order it online? You'd have it in 4/5 days. Or you prefer to stay local?
