I am an existing BOI customer and am moving from Dublin to London in the coming weeks to begin a new job. The online application system for opening a BOI UK account is currently not available. Would it be possible to open a BOI UK account by calling in to my branch (Trinity)?

    Hi badger1979

It is not be possible to open a UK bank account within one of our Republic of Ireland branches.

At present, Bank of Ireland UK accounts can be opened through our Northern Ireland branches. If you wish you can contact one of Northern Ireland branches by phone, a representative can talk you through the process. Contact details for these branches can be found here

Just to mention, there is no branch network available in the UK. All banking is assisted through post office, written requests or 365 Online.

    Thanks
    Alison
