    Been approved for btea since august and it still hasn't come through. Is anyone else in the same position?

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me?     Have u brought the letter from school yo ur social welfare office.i broughr mine on first week of school starting and got it by next week.

    went in today and was told that my payments were suspended, now I dno if its like that while they switch to my bank but I've no idea what's going on.

    every week they tell me that there still going through all the claims. either way their taking their time.

    i applied for this but not getting any extra a week the only difference is that my partner not get it for me and goes into my bank thought we would of got help with travel

    No you dont get travel expenses

    If I get a registration letter from college do I NEED start and end dates of course of can they just state that I am a full time registered student? My payment has been stopped from the post office. Thank for your help.

    Yes you need start and end dates.

    thanks for reply but i still confused as payments not increased only that mine is paid to me and not my partner and i not get full amount why we apply for this when get no help would i of been better to apply for a susie grant?

    Since 1 January 2013, if you are a new BTEA participant aged over 25 your weekly BTEA rate will be equal to your previous social protection payment (the payment that qualified you for participation in the scheme).
